Hey all!

I'm so excited to be blogging about these polishes! Why you might ask? Well it's because it contains my very first collaboration polish!! The lovely Teneil of Shades of Phoenix contacted me a few months ago inviting me to be a part of this collection, as I was one of her 'bloggers who inspire', I jumped at the chance and said yes! A little history, Teneil was one of the very first ladies I connected with when I started blogging, and we've remained friends since, so I do feel honoured that she wanted to include me in this collection.

The other ladies that are a part of this collection are Kaz from Pretty Random/Pretty Serious, Cassandra from The Reluctant Femme, Relle from LazyLacqurista, Caitlin from Muggle Manicures/Moonstone Nail Polish and Bettina from Bettina Nails.

First up, Bat in a Blender created by me!! This polish is a teal jelly base, packed with teal, blue and black glitter in different sized, also with some holo glitters thrown in for good measure. I had to use 3 coats to get this opaque, or you could choose to do a couple of coats over a teal base colour. I used a coat Essence gel look then 1 coat Poshe quick dry.

The inspiration for this polish was pretty simple, I went off my current hair colours, which are black and teal, which also happen to be my favourite colours and had to go with my favourite type of polish, a glitter bomb!

Next up is the stunning The Impossible Planet, created by Bettina Nails. It is a deep red jelly base filled with silver and black holo glitter with silver holo stars. I used 3 coats to get this opaque, and I did have to fish for the stars, even after inverting the bottle, but so worth it.

Here we have the gorgeous Iridescent Adolescent created by Muggle Manicures aka Moonstone Nail Polish. It is a lovely purple crelly filled with all things iridescent, as well as flakies galore. I used 3 coats for this polish, but could have gotten away with just two.

Here we have Medusa in the Morning created by Lazy Lacquerista. It is a beautiful blue crelly base with different sized glitters in brown, copper, red and gold. I again used 3 coats for full opacity. I do happen to know the meaning behind this polish, and that is that Relle from LL is like Medusa before she has her morning coffee, haha! I looove the earthy copper tones that the different glitters create, huge fan, need more in my collection.

Showing here is Paint me Blue created by The Reluctant Femme. It is a blue crelly base (deeper than Medusa in the Morning) filled with different sized hex glitters and lots of holo, light and dar blue squares with a dash of holo micro glitter. I used 3 coats for opactity. I freaking loved the blue base in this polish, and surprisingly I really like it with the square glitters, normally they're not my thing, but they totally work.

Last but certainly not least, we have The Secret of the Ooze created by Pretty Random aka Pretty Serious! It's a gorgeous deep olivey forest green jelly base filled with flakies in so many different colours. This polish I used 3 coats to be opacque, but next time I would wear a base colour. This polish is a chameleon, during the day you have the lovely green base, but it low light it looks black with different coloured flakies peeking out at you.

All these polishes are available for pre-order now through the Shades of Pheonix store, either as a set or individually.
